Do you like your name? Have you ever wanted to change it? Do you know the history of your name? Someone gave you a name, a date of birth, other important things that concern you today. How do you think it feels to bear the name of someone you haven't talked to for most of your life? The one-man show “Muttons” is the result of the creative collaboration between actor and playwright Raimonds Klezis and director Justas Tertelis. An interactive performance for young people, born inspired by autobiographical experiences. It invites the audience to explore sensitive topics together with the actor, which connect each of our childhood, adolescence and adult life. The play talks about the frustration, anger, sadness, and forgiveness of a young person, about topics I'm usually afraid to talk about among peers armed with glowing phones. So how did you get your name?
Ieva Jackevičiūtė and Raimondas Klezys, founders of No Shoes theater, authors of project ideas and their implementers, are a family duo of art educators and theater creators. Interactive, multi-sensory, physical theater and educational culture are created here: projects for babies, children and youth. Both creative and educational projects are prepared in such a way that they can be implemented in spaces not suitable for theater.
